The starry sky...
what is your first thought when you hear these words? A pleasant summer
night, the secret of the universe, perhaps an exciting scientific
experiment? The Gothard Observatory is one the international centers of
astrophysical researches in Hungary that we support. You can learn about
their newest scientific results at universities, and on their magical
shows. Last time - with Foucalt's pendulum experiment - they've proven that fortunately

"the Earth is still spinning". This experiment was
first performed in 1851, Paris. Afterwards it's been made famous by
Adolf Kunc and the Gothard Brothers in 1880. In the October of 2010
scientists who honor the Gothard legacy have proven the fact that with
an open heart to never-ending learning and with general humbleness
anyone can write history.
